Georges Arsenault.

"The history of the Exposition agricole et le Festival acadien de la région Évangéline dates back to 1903 when farmers from the community of Urbainville organized the region's first agricultural exhibition. This fair, which became an annual event, soon involved all the farmers from the parishes of Egmont Bay and Mont Carmel, and was recently promoted to the status of a provincial fair. Along the way, the Exhibition gave birth to the Festival acadien, thus creating a splendid agricultural and cultural event which is the pride and job of this Acadian region of Prince Edward Island." -- cover.
