     puzzling piece of information comes to life in her mother's obituary. It states that Ethel was the 
     
     adopted daughter of John E. and Elizabeth (Bruce) Robertson. Ethel did live there in her youth 
     
     but it is not known if the adoption was legal or oral, (See page 71).

     Stratford P.E.I., occupation: Fisherman/Canadian Armed Forces. They lived for many years on 
     
     Hebrew Street in Souris. In 1997, Myrtle and Harvey were honoured as the P.E.!. MS Couple of the Year. Harvey was in the 
     
     Canadian Army, serving in World War Il and was involved in the liberation of Holland in 1944. He has served in various 
     
     capacities within the Royal Canadian Legion and in St. James United Church in Souris.
