     times rushing past picturesque islands, virgin 
     
     forest, or fertile valley are countless rivers and 
     
     streams to meet the holiday demands of the 
     
     most exacting canoeist, be his inclination to 
     
     penetrate the forest wilderness or to enjoy 
     
     nearer civilization woodlands, open meadows,
