BELL, Edwin E. (1915—1971) was the youngest child of George and Ethel (MacLean) Bell. In 1951 Edwin married Sylvia Simpson, the

daughter of Cedric Simpson and Marjorie Enman of Bay View, P.E.I. Edwin and Sylvia built their home on the site of Ed's father's

previously abandoned house situated at the Corner of the South

Melville Road and the Trans Canada Highway.

Edwin operated a mixed farm. Sylvia returned to teaching school in 1966. Edwin died in 1971 and Sylvia now works with the P.E.I.

Department of Labor. Edwin and Sylvia had six children: Janice,

Debbie, Wendy, Randy, Alan and Heather.

BELL. Janice (b. 1952) is currently teaching elementary school

in Prince George, British Columbia.

BELL, Debbie (b. 1953) is married to Gordon J.A. McCarville.

They reside in West Royalty with their three children: Jannah (b. 1980), Matthew (b. 1981) and Nicholas (b. 1984).
