Mary is the daughter of the late Frederick D. Crossman and Martha Thomas . Gordon and Mary had three children: John Gordon (b. I960), Frederick Ernest (b. 1961), and Mary Jane (b. 1965, d. 1979). Gordon's siblings: Basil (d), David, Elvira Jane , Elizabeth, and Mary Edith .
