MacEWEN, Daniel Blair son of Harvey Burns MacEwen and Margaret

Jessie Walton was born at the P.E.I. Hospital in Charlottetown and

in 1985 at the Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church married Shelley Ann Surette. Shelley was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and is the daughter

of Rene Charles Surette and Christine Mary Doucette.

Shelley and Danny have one child: Kristopher (b. Sept. 28th, 1988). Danny’s siblings: Garth and Pamela.

Shelley's siblings: Anthony and Charles.

Danny and Shelley settled in DeSable, May 19th, 1985 where Danny

farms. The property was previously owned by Ivan and Evelyn MacKinnon

and in 1964 became a Century Farm.

Danny, after attending DeSable and Englewood Schools, graduated from Bluefield High in 1979 after which he attended N.S.A.C., Truro, Nova Scotia — Agricultural Business, 1979 - 1981. Shelley attended

Milton Elementary, N.S., Yarmouth Junior High, Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High and graduated in 1979 at which time she went to N.S.A.C. to study Ornamental Agriculture Technology (1979 - 1981).
