MacEWEN, Harvey Burns was born in 1939 in Longcreek and is the son of

Roselind and Daniel MacEwen. Harvey married Margaret Jessie Walton (b. 1940 at Murray Corner, New Brunswick) in 1960 in Hampton.

Margaret is the daughter of Borden R.L. Walton (d) and Laura Myers.

Harvey and Margaret had three children: Daniel Blair (b. 1961), Pamela Laura (b. 1967), and Garth Adam (b.1971).

Harvey's siblings: Albert, Norman, Hollis, Neil, Blair, Eric,

Heath, Claire, Ruby and Lucy.

Margaret's siblings: Leigh, Bertha and Howard - all born at

Murray Corner, N.B.

Harvey and Margaret settled in DeSable in 1966 where Harvey farms. Pam and Garth reside at home presently and Danny and his family farm in DeSable. Margaret is presently working as a nurse in

Charlottetown after having taken a refresher course in 1987.

The history of the property shows it was owned firstly by Inmans,

sold to MacKays and then to Ralph Myers and next to Borden Walton.
