WALTON, Borden (Robert Laird) was born at Murray Corner, New

Brunswick (1904 - 1967), the son of Miriam Cadman and James Henry.

Borden married Laura Harriet Myers (b. 1912 — Hampton) in 1933 at,

Hampton , P.E.I. Laura is the daughter of John M. Myers and

Adelaide Dixon.

Borden and Laura had five children: Leigh M. (b. 1934), Bertha M. (b. 1937), Margaret (b. 1940), J. Howard (b. 1942), and Sheila H.

(b.’1948, d. 1948).

Borden's siblings: Garth E., C. Tupper, Henrietta M., Ethel,

Eleanor, and Mabel.

Laura's siblings: Frank, Louis, Howard, William, Keith, Arthur,

Ralph, Borden, Norman, Mabel, Doris, Elizabeth, Mildred, and Lula.

Laura and.Borden settled in DeSable in 1943 to farm.’ The home

where Laura now resides was built in 1966.

The family of Laura and Borden reside as follows: Leigh lives

in Calgary and is married to Grace Alley, Bertha lives at Nine

Mile Creek and is married to Forbes Taylor, Howard lives in

Mississauga, Ontario and is married to Judy Acorn, Margaret lives

in DeSable and is married to Harvey MacEwen.
