An expansion of St. Peter’s vestry was carried out in 1989. This construction created extra space on a second level as well as on the first level. These memorial rooms, which are a great asset for Church School and other meetings, were dedicated in April of 1990 by Archdeacon William Moore. ST. PETER’S WOMEN’S AUXILIARY The organizational meeting of St. Peter’s Women’s Auxiliary was held at the home of Mrs. Ed Kinsman on September 22, 1921. A copy of this meeting’s minutes follows: A meeting to organize a Woman’s Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs. Kinsman. The following ladies signified their willingness to become a member of this society; Mrs. W.J. Palmer, Mrs. Ed. Kinsman, Mrs. Harry Williams, Mrs. Herman G. Bryan, Miss Thelma Hutchinson, Mrs. Eliza Palmer, Mrs. Arthur McDonald, Mrs. Wm. Kinsman, Mrs. Ed. Boyle. Moved by Mrs. Eliza Palmer, seconded by Mrs. Herman G. Bryan that Mrs. Harry Williams be President. Carried. Mrs. Eliza Palmer moved, seconded by Mrs. W.J. Palmer, that Mrs. Ed. Kinsman be Vice-President. Carried. Moved by Mrs. Harry Williams, seconded by Mrs. Eliza Palmer, Mrs. Wm. Kinsman be Secretary. Carried. Secretary for Letter Leaflet, Mrs. Eliza Palmer moved Miss Hutchinson. Carried. Secretary for Dorcas work, it was decided to let this office lay open for another meeting. Moved by Mrs. E. Palmer, seconded by Mrs. Wm. Kinsman that the membership fee be thirty cents. Carried. The meeting was closed with the Benediction. Following ladies paid membership fee; Mrs. W.J. Palmer, Mrs. Wm. Kinsman, Mrs. Eliza Palmer, Mrs. Harry Williams, Mrs. Herman G. Bryan, Mrs. Ed. Kinsman, Mrs. Ed. Boyle, Miss Thelma Hutchinson, Mrs. Arthur McDonald. Collection $3.45. Mrs. Harry Williams moved a vote of thanks to Mrs. Kinsman for her entertainment and hospitality.
