CENTENNIAL PRAYER — OF REQUESTS:

Lord, we ask you to increase our faith and our desire to wor— ship you and serve you in each other and in people most in need, in our society and throughout our world.

We pray for good health, and good weather for our centennial celebrations in August.

Open the hearts of all our youths so they may know your peace and participate generously with you in positive activities.

Deliver us from our jealous tendencies so that our love will attract those who do not participate with us now.

Take care of our sick and dying and their families.

We pray for more vocations to the priesthood and the reli- gious life.

Lord, rid us of our fears so that we may be fully ourselves as you call us to be, branches of Christ that bear fruit in all aspects of human life.

Remember our prisoners, Lord, and those who are imprisoned by drugs and alcohol.

We pray that the resources you give us from the land and the sea may be plentiful and shared equally so that all may know your love.

Finally, we pray for more peace and justice in our community and in our world.

We pray in the name of Jesus, our brother and our Lord.
