He also hada fine set of silver tea service. which it is believed he brought from‘England when he journeyed there to get a clock for the town hall tower. This ta service was ‘ apparently borrowed on occasion when the Governor was entertaining large groups. He left $45 to his mother. Piery Doyle started out with nothing, carved a good living from the Island by working hard, and was a man of kindness.
