the year 1934 the Point farm changed hands again. John Doyle decided to ye to town, fed up with trying to make a living farming. This family rented 'ous homes, their final Charlottetown address being 58 Kent Street, across m Rochford Square. John became a handyman-carpenter and about 1960 ved to 5 Falconwood Road with the Daley family who had moved to harlottetown from Windsor, Nova Scotia. He and Ellie later moved to the ome of his daughter Margaret and her husband Gus Campbell, on Upper een Street. It was in this home that Ellie died, surrounded by her family mbers, myself included. John died in the Sacred Heart Home in Charlene- wn on April 3, 1975.
