promote the Prince Edward Island Drama Festival Association. In 1950, she helped to inaugurate the Women’s Institute program over C.F.C.Y., and almost from the first has been its mistress of cere- monies and guiding light. We have all become very familiar with “Good morning, this is Helen Herring” The program is well received throughout the Maritime Provinces. In her current T.V. program, directed to the homemaker, she is very often able to highlight the work of the Women’s Institutes whose motto is for Home and Country. We could name other important interests and activities. Those covered with her church; and those with various other organ- izations. We would mention especially the Order of the Eastern Star. It is with these many things in mind, Helen Herring, that the Provincial Board of the Women’s Institutes confer on you tonight its highest honor, a Life Membership. 0 one more worthy than you has received it. N May you wear this Life Membership pin with pride, knowing that it is bestowed with all our love and sincere appreciation of your work in the Women’s Institute, on the local, provincial and national levels, and through which you have served so well your Home and Country. o .1 .y MRS.
