Joseph Wood b. 1828, d. 4 Aug 1865, bur. Tryon Peoples Cem., m. 1 Feb 1859 Lydia Lord Lea, b. 28 March 1837. See Lea history. Joseph had a farm to the north of his father’s on the 1863 Island map, where Glen Lea now lives.

Elizabeth b. 1833, d. 17 Oct 1862, m. 22 July 1854 Nathaniel Montague Wright, b. 18 Nov 1830, d. 29 March 1866, bur. Searletown.

They had 3 daughters. Artemas left the Island and never married.

Albert DesBrisay b. 31Jan 1832, d. 22 Feb 1908, bur. Tryon Peoples Cem., son of William Callbeck and Phoebe Wood, m. 18 March 1858 Mary Jane Lea, b. 27 June 1839, d. 13 Apr 1925, bur.Tryon Peoples Cem., daughter of William Lea and Elizabeth Leard. See Lea history.

Albert D. Callbeck owned two hundred acres of land between the Muirhead and Keough farms on the Crossroad in the 1880 Atlas, this comprised his father’s and his brotherjoseph’s farm. Mr. Callbeck built a house on the north section where he raised his family, later he moved to a new home south of the old residence. The older house was occupied by several families including: Gordon Thompson, Thomas Bell, and Parker Delaney. It was demolished about 1926.
