Callbeck owned two hundred acres of land between the Muirhead and Keough farms on the Crossroad in the 1880 Atlas, this comprised his father's and his brother Joseph's farm. Mr. Callbeck built a house on the north section where he raised his family, later he moved to a new home south of the old residence. The older house was occupied by several families including: Gordon Thompson , Thomas Bell , and Parker Delaney . It was demolished about 1926.
