Tremaine and Mabel lived in what is now the Art Fleiger house. They had no children.

Thomas was a carpenter and a farmer. He was also a veteran of the first World War. Thomas and Mac moved from Augustine Cove to North Tryon about 1900 to a farm owned by Mae’s brother,]ut Duncan. Only a barn stood on this land by the Tryon River. Thomas Dawson
