Sydney bought the Dawson house and farm from his mother when his father died in 1940. Sydney sold the farmland to Otto Johnson in the early 19503. He hauled cream for Amalgamated Dairies, Summerside, and later worked as a male nurse at Riverside. Daisy was employed with Marine Atlantic, Borden, until she retired in 1991. Daisy is a member of the North Tryon Women’s Institute. Daisy and Sydney attended the North Tryon Presbyterian Church.
