Parker and Minnie lived in North Tryon at Chisholm’s Corner. Parker worked with local farmers, at Dixon’s Store, and at Ives’ Mill. Minnie was a member of the North Tryon Women’s Institute and they were members of the North Tryon Presbyterian Church.
