Cape Traverse Church of Scotland Cem., son of Robert Dixon and Catherine Macintosh , m. as her 2nd. husband Isabelle Belle MacFadyen Dobson, b. 1885, d. 1957, bur. Cape Traverse Church of Scotland Cem., daugh¬ ter of Neil MacFadyen and Annie Gillis . Belle and Frank moved from Augustine Cove to the Hennessey house on the Crossroad. They were living in this house when it was moved across the ice to a lot near the Aboiteau Bridge in Tryon . Soon after they moved to the Gordon Cutcliffe family house. Frank was the night watchman at Ives' Electric Light Plant for many years. Belle first married David Dobson who had emigrated from Scotland with his son Rob Roy. Rob Roy was a beautiful singer and was often a featured soloist at the Tryon United Church. David and Belle moved to Lowell, Mass, but several years later, Belle returned to PEI with her daughters. Belle was a member of the North Tryon Women's Institute. Frank's sister, Emma Sherren , lived with and looked after Frank following Belle's death. Frank sold his house to Gordon and Ruth Cutcliffe in 1959 and moved to Charlottetown . Frank and Belle had no children. Belle MacFadyen and David Dobson had 2 children: Alma Doris b. 16 jan 1900, m. Wendell Lea . See Lea history. Cathy b. 11 Nov 1909, d. 5 Oct 1979, bur. Lowell. Cathy was a Captain in the American Army in WW II and following the war continued working in her nursing profession.
