Millie lived and taught school in Tryon before she entered nurses training at Winnipeg General Hospital in 1919. Millie returned to the Island in 1922 and did private nursing until 1949. She was an amateur photographer and her photos, including the ones used in this history, are at the Provincial Archives, Charlottetown . Millie was summer nurse at , Augustine Cove , for many years.
