The Inmans employed MacKenzie Bros , in 1887 to build a new house which is the present Vernon Inman house. This house was built close to the river and later moved up the hill nearer the Crossroad. Major had a mixed farming operation. Major and Eliza were members of the Tryon United Church. 145
