b. Ireland, m. 6 Feb 1839 Ann Murphy. The Lacy name is no longer in the community.

Lang Family
Frank George Lang b. Tryon, 1878, d. 23 Sept 1920, bur. North Tryon Presbyterian Cem., son of John Lang and Elizabeth Wright, Tryon, m. 17 March 1903 Elizabeth Lizzie Chisholm, b. 17 March 1875, bap. 16July 1875, d. 22 Feb 1954, bur. North Tryon Presbyterian Cem., daughter of William Chisholm and Jane Ann Morrison. They had no children. See Chisholm history.
Frank Lang was the first manager and butter maker at the North Tryon Butter Factory. The Langs were very fond of children and their home was a popular place for nieces, nephews, and neighbourhood children. Shirley Thomas Thomson lived with her Aunt Lizzie after her mother, Jessie Chisholm Thomas, died.
