Crilly and Hildred operated the general store in North Tryon. Crilly was an avid sports fan and Hildred was a member of the North Tryon Women’s Institute. When Crilly left North Tryon, he moved to Murray River where he and his brother-in-law Frank MacFarlane had a general store. Crilly and Mary built a house in Crapaud in 1965 where Mary resides in 1992. They had no children.
