their house in 1960 to a lot on the Trans-Canada Highway purchased from Clayton Thomas. A wind storm destroyed the Clayton Thomas barn in 1972 and dumped truckloads of debris around the Lord house, destroyed the flue, and damaged the wall of the house and a car. Sterling worked for Maritime Electric, retiring in 1972. They were members of the Tryon United Church.

Donald operated an Esso Service Station at Chisholm’s Corner until 1969 when Esso built a new station on the Muirhead farm. Donald operated the new station until he enrolled at the Marine College in 1971 where he obtained his First Mates Papers. Donald works on the Marine Atlantic car ferry Abegweit. Janet lives in Summerside.
