William and Charlotte lived in Tryon where Ernie White now lives. William was a seaman who met a misfortune at sea and left a widow

and two sons. Charlotte’s father deeded her 35 acres of his Birch Point Farm on 15 November 1856, thus providing a home for his daughter.

This property was owned by Karl Boulter in 1985.

William Muirhead and Charlotte Wright had 2 sons:
