Elizabeth Morley, b. 20 Sept 1775, d. 21 Sept 1857, bur. Cape Traverse United Cem., daughter of Charles Morley and Isabella Rogers. See Leard history.

George and Elizabeth lived at Tryon until they moved with their family to Cape Traverse. Their homestead was owned by a great-great- grandson, Wallace Muttart, in 1980. Brought up a Roman Catholic, George Muttart was for a time a lay reader appointed by the priest to read the service prayers in the homes of the faithful at Tryon and vicinity. However, he was converted to Protestantism by Nathaniel Wright in 1793-94. George and his eldest son, Charles, joined the Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1815. The remaining children, with the exception of William, followed his example.

Charles b. l lJune 1798, d.June 1855, m. lJan 1823 Margaret Leard, b. March 1804, d. Dec 1871, daughter of John Brick Leard and Jane Lord. They had 6 children and lived in Cape Traverse. See Leard history.

Margaret Peggy b. 4 July 1800, m. John Creek Leard. See Leard history.

Mary Ann b. 25July 1802, d. 8 Nov 1870, m. 13 Nov 1827 Michael Clark, b. 1805, d. 1880, son of Michael Clark and Sarah Gamble. They lived at Tryon and had 7 children.

Adam b. 1804, d. 10 Feb 1874, m. Martha Mattie Rose, daughter of Sampson Rose and Elizabeth Baker of East Point. They moved from Cape Traverse to Fifteen Point. They had 10 children.

John b. 28 Feb 1810, d. 30 Nov 1889, m. 15 Sept 1831 Elizabeth Bell, b. 1813, d. 13 Sept 1886, bur. Cape Traverse United Cem., daughter of John Bell and Jane Little. They lived at Carleton and had 7 children. See Bell history.

Sophia b. 1812, d. 31 March 1880, m. 20Jan 1831 Samuel Carruth— ers, b. 1802, d. 1876, son of Thomas Carruthers and Isabella Tait. They moved to North Bedeque and had 12 children.

Lewis b. 21 Apr 1814, d. 10 Sept 1903, bur. Cape Traverse United Cem., m. 4July 1838 Susan Jane Allen, b. 1818, d. 21 July 1881, Cape Traverse United Cem., daughter of Eliphalet Allen and Hannah Ray- worth of Bayfield, NB. They lived on the homestead in Cape Traverse and had 14 children. It was on this farm in 1852 that telegraph communications by undersea cable were established between Cape Tormentine and Cape Traverse. After the death of Susan, Lewis mar- ried Annabella Wright Read Inman, b. 1821, d. 1904, daughter of William Wright and Isabella Cole.

William Belsher b. 16 May 1819, d. 22 Sept 1885, m. 1845 Sarah Sally Campbell of Cape Traverse. They had 10 children.
