John Wilber b. 2 Aug 1912, d. 8 May 1990, bur. Hartsville Presby- terian Cem., son of Neil Nicholson and Mary MacKay, m. as her 2nd. husband 18 Feb 1941 Katherine Mae MacLure MacLean, b. 21 June 1905, daughter of Hugh MacLure and Mary Anne MacDonald.

John and Katherine lived in the Otto Johnson house. John worked for Dawson’s Construction in Crapaud. Katherine was a member of the North Tryon Women’s Institute.

John Nicholson and Katherine MacLure MacLean had 2 children:

John Reginald b. 27 Dec 1941, m. Dawna Tuplin. They had no children. Reg works in Summerside.

Mary June b. 30 Aug 1945, m. 4 March 1972 Frederick Russell Gardiner, b. 18 Nov 1942, son of Montague Gardiner and Marion Lord. June is employed with the Federal Government and Russell has a

trucking and feed business. They live at Ross Comer and had no children. See Lord history.
