William was a farmer. The Pooley house was on a sixty eight acre farm in the 1880 Atlas. The farm passed to Richard, and then to Richard’s family, William, Frank, and Amy. Allie Foy bought the Pooley residence and an adjoining one acre lot from Harry Malone in 1955. The Malone land was later sold. Mrs. Foy’s son, Garnet Tremere, was the next owner of the house, and following Garnet and Eleanor

Tremere’s deaths, Ralph MacDonald bought the house and sold it to Claude Cornish in 1990.
