war 2 years later. The following year A.J. married again. A.J. took an active part in community affairs, he was a school trustee,

and also a member in the Tryon Baptist Church. A.J. joined the church as a young man but the following church record indicates that he left for a period of time: 6 May 1899, Church Clerk (WB.Howatt) visited Albert Robinson finding him in a very cold and indzflerent state with no apparent desire to be any better. Thinks he was never converted and wished his name to be erased from church roll. AJ. returned to the church where he served as a Deacon and was a dedicated church member until his death.

Margaret Ruth b. 18June 1920. Ruth left home as a young girl and attended Moulton School for Girls in Toronto, London School of Economics in London, England, Moncton Business College, and UBC in Vancouver where she received a law degree. She returned to London in 1963 and worked for NEDO until she retired in 1985. In 1992 she is a courier between London and Toronto.

James Ralph b. 26 March 1925, lst. m. Dorene Dent, b. Saskatoon, daughter of Carrie Dent. They had 1 child: Shawn Leitha, b. 12 Dec 1952, m. 25 Aug 1972 David Knights, son ofJames and Olive Knights, Ottawa. Shawn and Dave live in Edmonton and had 2 children: Noel Susan b. 23 Oct 1978; Robin Carey b. 10 May 1982.Jim 2nd. m. Lillian Larsen Thorsell, b. 20 March 1925, Carleton Place, Ontario, daughter of Aage Sven Larsen and Ella Desdata, Copenhagen. Jim worked for the Department of National Defence in Ottawa, retiring in 1985.

Eric Clinton b. 17 Feb 1918, son of A.J . Robinson and Mary Mooney, m. 20 Oct 1942 Edith Pauline Leard, b. Crapaud, 6 Aug 1914, daughter of Harry Leard and Cora Dawson. See Dawson history.

Eric worked on the home farm in Augustine Cove, and during the war in the Pictou shipyards, returning to the farm following the war. For several years he subsidized the farm with work at Morrison and MacRae Construction. Eric started the Robinson Potato Dealership in Albany in 1956 and also began a machinery dealership. Eric is a Deacon in the Tryon United Baptist Church where he and Edith are members. Edith was a school teacher. They lived and farmed at Augustine Cove until 1966 when they moved to Albany.
