Patrick Trainer bur. Kinkora Cem., son ofJohn Trainer and Mary Duffy, m. 28 Nov 1882 Elizabeth Libby Dawson, b. 10 Aug 1859, d. 29 Dec 1935, bur. Kinkora Cem., daughter of Henry Dawson and Elizabeth Keough. See Dawson history.

Patrick and Elizabeth Libby lived and farmed in North Tryon on the Henry Dawson farm, later purchased by Arthur Thomson.

Patrick Trainor and Libby Dawson had 11 children:

John Henry b. 1 Sept 1883, d. 1963, m. 11 Sept 1912 Agnes MacKenna, b. 1886, d. 1973. They had no children.

George b. 1885, d. 1954, m. Nora Murphy, b. 1884, d. 1976. They had 5 children: Leslie; Kathleen; Mary; George; Aileen.

Eva Mary b. 1887, d. 1968.

Martin Gerald b. 1891, d. 1974, bur. Sudbury, m. Bertha McKenna, b. 1896, d. 1973. They had 4 children: Richard; Theresa; Myra; Jane.

Patrick Leslie b. 1893, d. 1969, m. Virgil Murphy, b. 1896, d. 1975. They had 5 children: Nora; Aileen; Dorothy; Patn'ck; George.

Elizabeth b. lOJuly 1894, d. 1922, m. Wilfred Donnelly, b. 1889, d. 1961. They had 4 children: George; Eileen; Marjorie; Kathleen.

James Wilbert b. 8 Oct 1898, d. 9 Oct 1961, m. 24 Aug 1915 Mary Alice Murphy, b. 11 Oct 1894, d. 5 Apr 1961. They lived in West Royalty where they owned and operated the Royalty Maples Motel. They had 5 children: Bernard; Gerald; Mary; Loretta; Aurelia.

Jennie Dora b. 1899, m. William Cullen, b. 1901, d. 8 May 1984. They had no children.

Pius Vincent b. 1904, d. 1918.

Ester and Rob were residents of Hampshire, PEI. Ester and her son, Garnet, moved to the Branch Road after Ester’s second marriage to Allie. Allie retired from farming, sold his farm, and he and Ester moved
