m. Gerald O’Day. Selina b. 5 May 1859, d. 3 March 1906, bur. USA, In. John Mabon,

a veterinarian, b. 1858, d. 10 Jan 1926, lived in USA. They had no children.

Matthew Smith b. 3 May 1834, d. 1918, son of Billy Wood and Margaret Enman, m. 25 Aug 1864 EmmaJane Rayner, b. 22 Dec 1846, d. 7 June 1915, bur. Boston, daughter of Joseph Rayner and Janet Sharpe.

Matthew farmed the homestead, and was employed at Gouldrup’s Mill. Matthew and his young family moved to the Boston area where he worked in the lumber industry.

Matthew Wood and Emma Jane Rayner had 13 children:

Alonzo Boulter b. 22 June 1865, d. 3 Jan 1943, bur. Santa Rosa, California, m. 3July 1884 Eliza Agnes Kinsman, b. Summerside, 15July 1870, d. 10 Oct 1939, bur. Santa Rosa, California, daughter of James Kinsman and Mary Linkletter. Alonzo apprenticed as a tailor in Boston. They had 2 children: Ralph Smith b. Summerside, 3 Oct 1885; Benjamin Milford b. Boston, 9 Dec 1886.
