teacher. They were members of the Tryon United Baptist Church, and lived in Lower Tryon and Crapaud. Brent was not given a middle name at birth, but discovered that as aJustice of the Peace, he required one. He chose Cutten, the last name of a local minister. Brent was a historian and spent his retirement years gathering and recording local history. This interest, with the assistance of his wife and family, resulted in the publication of the Wood History. Brent’s research has proved invalu- able in compiling this history.

William Webster b. 4 Feb 1930, 1st. m. 30 Aug 1955 Sylvia Stems. They had no children. Bill 2nd. m. 16 Sept 1963 Irene Balogh, b. 23 March 1928. They live in Osooyoos, BC. Bill adopted Irene’s son: William Bradley b. 7Jan 1961, m. Ellen Sinclair. They had 2 children.
