The farmers in this vicinity are about finished gathering their harvest, and some are preparing to dig their potatoes which are an extra good crop.
Mr John Condon, thresher, is again amongst the farmers thresh» in},r their grain, and reports that the grain is a gooi crop.
Mr Charles Toole is erecting a large and commodious dwelling house, which when completed will be a credit to the vicinity. ‘
Our enterprising merchants, J A Robertson and S Beaten, are doing a rushing busmess.
The roads in some parts of the community are in a very bad condi-' tion and need repairing. An e1 *c Lion would do the roads good wheth- er it would do the Liberals good or not.
MrJas B)yce sold a valuable horse
for which’he receiveJ a handsome sum.
While Mr Ernest Cnsbv of Bon- shaw, was at Mr James Bryce's on Saturday night some unknown par ties took his horse and carriage for a drive and when they left the hor'se back they did not tie him. The horse. on finding himself untied start- ed ior home damaging the carriage considerably.
Try Again Division Sons of Tem- perance of Bonshaw, is in a flourish- ing condition having upwards of one hundred members.
Mr R Vessev intends leaving in a ’short time for Boston. He Will be ‘ greatly missed by his many friends

Miss Lillian Soles of Charlotte- town, who has been visiting friends at lionshavy returned to the city on Tuesday.
Mr J B Crosby who has been visit— ing relations on the Island. left for his home in Denver, Col, on Friday last. He was accompanied by MrsC W Crosby and her son Lawson. where they expect to remain for the winter.
Mr Donald Gordon of Appin Road is now handling a beautiful little yellow filly by Fleetwood. Mr Gor-
don's “baby" has lately given evidence of great speed, and we ex pect to hear more about her in the future.
Mr Ernest Holm of Hampton, visited Try Again Division on Saturday evening.
