Guardian , 1927 July 16 th BONSHAW WOMEN'S INSTIT¬ UTE—The regular meeting of the Bonsaw Women'a Institute met In the schoolhouse on Wednesday, the 15th Inst. After the usual opening exercises twelve members responded to roll call and one new member wai welcomed. It was decided to held the annual picnic on Monday of the following week. Arrange¬ ments were also made to have a lecture In the hall and a special meeting called for In connection with name. Correspondence In¬ cluded a letter of thanks from the Red Cross Society, also another for fruit. A paper entitled *My Home. My Country, My District," was read by Miss MacRae . The next meeting Is to be held at the home of Mrs. Ocorgv Carsem , and roll call Is to be answered with pickling recipes. At this meeting the delegate* report of the Convention will hi jivta. Guardian 1928 August 22 nd BONSHAW INSTITUTE—The June meeting of Women's Insti¬ tute was held at the home of MLss Irene Murchison , with 14 members present and 2 visitors. The program opened with the Ode and Creed and Roll Call was answered by sing, &ay or recite, three members paid fines. Reports of sick and school commit¬ tees were voiced and plans were made for the Institute picnic to be held the last of July. A paper was read by Miss - Irene Murchison en¬ titled "Co-operation between parent, teacher and child." The meeting closed with National Anthem. Ten dollars was donated for prizes for the school children to be given in order of merit. Miss Inez MacRae . Bon¬ shaw, was accepted ss a member.
