The fatber was also bom at Mount Stewart , engaged in ship building and farming during his active years, and his death occurred in 1888, at the age of sixty-seven years. The paternal grandfather, Ronald Macdonald , Sr., was born at Tracadie , Prince Edward Island . and the great-grandfather, also named Ron¬ ald, came from Garaheila, Inverness , Scot¬ land, and was of the clan Ronald. He came to Prince Edward Island in 1772 with Capt. John Macdonald 's colony.
