     BE it remembered, that on this 16th day of September, A. D., 1861, 
     
     C. BIRCH BAGSTER, of Charlottetown, in the said Island, has 
     
     deposited in this Oflice the title of a Book, the copyright whereof 
     
     he claims in the words following : “ The Progress and Prospects 
     
     of Prince Edward Island, written during the leisure of a. visit in 
     
     1861, a. sketch intended to supply information upon which en- 
     
     quiring Emigrants may rely, and actual settlers adopt as the 
     
     basis of a wider knowledge of their beautiful Island home, by C. 
     
     Birch Bagster, connected during 20 years with the Island 
     
     interests,” in conformity with the Act for the protection of copy-
