'It is possible that they may not be found absolutely correct in every particular. But it is hoped that they may be regarded A as comprising a condensed and generally truthful account of the development of Prince Edward Island from the forest primeval to the positiOn of a Province of the Dominion of Canada 1n the

British Empire.
