to be decreased in number to twenty-one with 12 trustees in 1970.
Over the past 25 years, there have been many firsts for St. Andrew's, and to name them all would mean naming each of you for your support in time, talent and treasure.
There are, however, some very important facts.
The first Clerk of Session was John A. Shaw; organist, Marguerite Mutch; Recording
Steward, Muriel Mutch; Treasurer, Henry Mowery; eael UCW General President,

In 1973, the following women were to be the first elected to the Session: Lousie
MacMillan, Jean Morrison, Louise Smith, Anne Shaw, and Kay Furness.
On February 26, 1975, just six years after the construction a service was conducted by Rev. John Foster signifying the burning of the mortgage--a remarkable accomplishment indeed. In the same year, the site was approved for the new manse, and in May 1976 construction began. In January of 1976 the Session members began their 3 year term of office as Elders. Once again, after five years, Rev. James Fraser held another mortgage burning ceremony in March of 1981. These two major
accomplishments were then ,over the years, followed by the parking lot, the roof, the
