3e siding, the Sunday School classrooms, painting—and the list goes on-—all accomplished

by the generosity and good stewardship of the members.

On May 8, 1983, John Henry Van Omme of this congregation, who had felt himself called to the ministry, was recommended for ordination. On April 1, 1984 the new Allan Digital computer organ was dedicated and continues to be spiritually uplifting to all. On January 21, 1988, our organists Mertie Sanderson and Frances MacRae and our choir director Prudence Drake decided, after almost 20 years of service, to graciously retire. Susan Duncan replaced them as organist and choir director. Today, we are grateful to Velma Brehaut, assisted by Shirley Wood, who presently fill this role. Also, in the ministry of music, we are pleased to have the Songsters,

accompanied and directed by Francis MacRae.

Our youth have played a very important role in the church over the past 25 years and continue to take a very active part in the Sunday service. Through Tyros, Teen Time, Sigma C, High C, Messengers, Explorers, C.G.l.T., Brigade Canada, Youth Choir,

Youth Group, and Sunday School, our youth continue to grow in faith. The first record in the 1977 Annual Report of Sunday School the enrolment was 79 children with 25 teachers. Over the years there have been as many as 140 children enrolled triage

to 103 children today. There have been many dedicated Sunday School teachers,

superintendents, and assistant superintendents.
