Lemuel Winchester, a farmer and fisherman, lived at the Cape until the land was sold to Claude Ramsay who farmed the land until he sold it to his son Russell. The land was then farmed by Russell until the Provincial Government purchased

the land for a provincial park.

Oldest house in district owned by Budd Birch. Built in 1810 and since

remodelled.

This house belonging to Ivan Clark is over lhO years old. The lumber for i came from Miramichi, N.B. Little or no remodelling has been done to the

exterior.
