The next occupant was William Ross , 1840-1877. He occup ed 37 acres of land alongside the Glydon farm and bordering on the South West River and Harding's Creek. The rail through this land to the creek and the wharf. He married Raciel Ross, 1829-1880. They had three children: Gladstone, Rachel i .nd Henry, and they all moved to western Canada . George Ross lived on this property and he married Lavi Pickering, 1855-1945. They had a daughter Grace and a son Geo Both died when young. George Ross died a few years later and she married Joseph Rankin. They lived in the U.S.A . and they had one daughter.
