In reviewing one hundred and fourteen years of history in this Parish of Crapaud, one is impressed with the wealth of tradition and heritage handed down to us. An appropriate conclusion to this article would be an expression of Thanksgiving to Almighty God for His blessing on this Parish; and to recall two statements previously quoted, —
From the Sermon preached at the Consecration of the present Church, —- “Be strong, and quit yourselves like men. I Samuel, IV, 9.”
From the Parish Memorial to the Countess of Westmoreland and Lady Fane. — “All who worship within the walls of this Church . . . be earnest in their endeavours to adorn the Doctrine of their God and Saviour; and ever manifest an earnest zeal in perpetuating the teaching of our Holy Church.”
