Mrs. Hector MacNevin has a broach made out of a P.E.I. cent, dated 1871, which belonged to her mother. The centre is colored; the oak trees are in their natural shade of green. The blue sky and the green grass are to be seen. It is 80 Or 85 years old.

EARTHEN JAR

_ Mrs. LeRoy Howatt has a quart jar which was made at the time of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. This jar is decorated with leaves, representing the Heather, and fruit. It has the Queen's picture on it, also the following inscription:-

THE CREAM.OF HIGHLAND WHISKEY MN QUEEN JUBILEE BLEND JUBILEE 1837-1887

(This jar is 85 years old.)
