FRANK S. MYERS

Frank was born in Hampton in 1908, the eldest son of John H. and Adelaide (Dixon) Myers. His home was the centre of political interest, his father having represented the district as Conserva- tive member of the P.E.I. Legislature and House of Commons.

. In 1928, Frank married Florence_Profitt and they moved to the farm home formerly owned by Isaac Trowsdale. In 1934 all the buildings were destroyed by fire and new buildings were built.

They have three children: Jean (Mrs. Dean Profitt), Frances (Mrs. Douglas MacKinnon) and Sheldon. Jean resides in Calgary; Frances and Douglas built on the home farm and have three sons: Ronald - married Donna Newsome and has a son, Kirk, and daughter, Amanda. They built a home on the Lewis Myers' farm, as has his brother, Jack - married to Connie Mugridge and having two daugh- ters, Kelly and Alexis. Larry married Cindy Cameron and they have a daughter, Ellen, and have built a home in Hampton on land once owned by John H.

In 1965 Frank and Florence moved to Crapaud to a house built by Major Inman. Sheldon married Marilyn Best and took over "Crestmount Farm". Their daughter, Donna, is at home, but son Randy married Kim Edwards and with daughter, Robbilynn, live in an apartment adjacent to Randy's workshop on T.C. Highway.

Frank represented First Queens for the P.C.'s for approxi-

mately 20 years, was Warden and Sunday School teacher at St. John's Anglican Church and Past Master of True Brother's Lodge. Frank

died in 1975.
