WOMEN’S MISSIONARY SOCIETY

The first society was organized at the close of the induction of John Geddie March 13th, 1838. Many women came forward and put

their names down for membership.

This is all we know about this society as no records can be found but we believe that the society has been active all these years.

Before 1911 the New London North Auxiliary met month about in the different sections of the congregation; on account of distance many could not attend regularly so it was decided to split up into small-
