This land was owned by John A. Woodside and later bought by Frank Glydon. He was born in Cornwall, England, in 1856, came to P...EI with his parents age 10 yrs. He settled in Margate. Frank married

Eliza Rogers in 1878. Their family are: Inez, Mrs. George Corbett Ethel, Mrs. Arthur Heaney Clinton, killed in first war 1922

Turner married Ethel Fyfe. Their family are (Olive) Mrs. Don Bowness, Truro. Clinton married Anna MacLean. They live in Mermaid. Lorne married Nora McCarville, Kensington and reside on home place.

This home was formerly owned by William R. Dennis and his wife Janie Glydon of Margate. Their children were:

George married Alma Pickering of Clinton. Second marriage, Emma Colwill, Charlottetown.

Wilbur married Ruth Mayhew of Margate. Charles married Jean MacPherson, Summerside. Florence married Wesley Heaney, Clinton. Edith married Alfred Heaney, Clinton.

Mae married Evan Carr, St. Eleanors.

Alberta married Bertram Warren, Burlington.

The farm was later owned by Wilbur Dennis. They had two sons —— Charles (deceased) married Edna MacInnis. Their sons are Dean and Daryl —— reside in Kensington.
