The initial research and rough manuscript for a proposed historical book on St. Peter’s Cathedral, Charlottetown, P.E.I. was financed through the assistance of Employment and Immigration Canada, which funded a Section 38 grant for research and writing purposes. The grant was in operation through January and February of 1984 for a total of eight weeks. A further grant from October until the end of February 1985 enabled an additional twenty weeks of work to be completed.
