The cross- bearer and two Acolytes vested in girdled albs preceded the Priest who was vested in surplice, hood, stole and biretta. The pail-bearers were six priests, the Rev.’s J.A. Kaulbach, D.C. Moore, C. Wiggins, F. Murray, V.E. Harris and TB. Reagh.108
The first Priest Incumbent for the Cathedral Church of Prince Edward
1 Island, St. Peter’s, was put to rest having served his people honestly and
‘ faithfully for sixteen years. He was instrumental in establishing a firm base
from which subsequent Incumbent Priests could broaden the Tractarian
recovery of the Catholic element within the worship life of the Anglican
Church on Prince Edward Island, and even as an influence Within the Diocese of Nova Scotia proper.
