JAMES BRANDER
James Brander, brother of George married Susan Crozier (1842-1883), daughter of John and Jane Crozier. They resided on the adjoining farm,
now owned by James Beairsto. They had one son George who resided in U.S.A. This property was sold to William Riley who sold it to Ansel Ber- nard in 1917. In 1924 it was purchased by William Brander and he and his family lived there until 1928 at which time they returned to the George Brander farm and this farm was purchased by James Beairsto a brother-in-
law and still remains in his possession at time of writing 1977. MARGARET
Margaret, (1843-1916), a sister of George and James married Thomas Hopgood and lived on the Base Line Road, north of Wyman Clark’s.
BRAN DER (BUDDY)
Charles (Buddy) and Dolly Silk Brander purchased the Delaney house in 1975. Bud is a Physical Education instructor at Three Oaks Senior High School in Summerside and Dolly is a schoolteacher. They have one daughter, Sara. ’
This property dates back to 1827 in the Delaney name and in 148 years, all the children born here were males, so Sara holds the honor of being the
first girl. BRANDER
James Brander, Sea View, married Emma McArthy, b. 1.883, d. 1935, in 1919, they resided across from Baltic School. They had one son Ralph, 'now deceased. Mr. Brander later married Della Ferrish and moved to French River. He was the son of George Brander, Sea View a grand-uncle of Charles (Buddy) Brander, Baltic.
BROWN (DARBY and LAVERN E)
The property now owned by Darby and Laverne Brown was formerly occupied by James Cousins and owned by his father, Gordon Cousins. The Brown’s purchased the farm in November 1961 and since then have carried on a mixed farming operation, also raising cattle and pigs.
The Brown’s have four children: Shirley, married Ernest Arsenault and living in Downsview, Ontario, Brenda, married Edward Hickey and living in Calgary, Alberta, and two sons Edwin married Wendy T omilinson and . resides in Baltic. Glynn, living at home, attending school.
The farmhouse on this property is probably the oldest surviving home in Baltic, it is estimated to have been built 165 years ago. In the past this property has been the site of a blacksmith shop.
Edwin married Wendy Tomlinson and resides in Baltic.
