Louis died as a result of a highway accident in 1963, age 71, and Lulu passed away in 1972, age 73. They had no family.

CASELEY (ELMER)

Elmer Caseley and his wife Rose Reeves of Summerside moved to Baltic in 1961 when they bought Burns’ Clover Farm Store from William H. Burns. The Caseley’s have operated the store successfully ever since. They have since opened a second grocery and supply facility adjoining Cabot Park to cater to the needs of tourists.

The Caseley’s have four children: Keith, married 'to Deborah DesRoches, living in Summerside; Myron, Gerald, and Deborah are all living at home.

CHAMPION

The Champions came to Baltic in 1801, according to Reah Millmans book “The Parish of New London.” The first Champion was John, who, with his wife Barbara Warren and their family, landed on the property now _ owned by William Burns and adjoining farms.

John Champion, his wife, children and several relatives came from Devonshire, Eng. They had two sailing ships, John being the captain of one. They had ten children, John, Nancy, James, Dolly, Catherine0 Mary,
